Where Have I Been?!

I AM BACK!!

I swear it was just the 1st of May and next thing i know its the 31st and June is practically upon us.

I feel like i have been off here for more than just a month though and i feel bad for leaving you guys hanging but i'm sure y'all understand life can do the most when it wants. From mid-April till date my schedule has been ridiculously hectic! It's by God's grace i survived mehn-from work to home, extra-curriculars, events, etc. 

I'm super light and feel unstoppable now though as i 've gotten a lot of things off my to-do list and sorta have a better schedule for June so hopefully y'all will be seeing me on here more. I thought about posting QOTDs or YouTube vids but honestly that would have been me half-assing it 'cos i did about 2 posts like that towards the end of April just to make up for my absence.

Thanks to my 'Just Do It' motto for the year, my aim is to try to churn out 4 posts monthly on average, basically 1 post a week and i couldn't keep up this month though the motto has positively helped my procrastinating attitude in other things.

I feel like i'm back on track today though, if y'all will still have me-i know you will 😁. I have so mannnyyy posts in my drafts, its just for me to find time to complete them or add pics and then publish for your viewing pleasure, so bear with me biko.

I'm feeling quite ready for the new month 'cos yesterday i got some major cooking outta the way and today i got some work tasks &mails out of the way, sorted out my laundry, paid house bills, renewed my internet subscription, submitted some important forms, updated our home budget, got my house cleaned thoroughly and i'm finally blogging!

I know how it feels when bloggers don't put up posts and I really missed being on here, so let's hi5 it out✋🙌 and never be apart for this long again😙.

It really is never too late to get in the swing of things, even if its on the last day of the month. lol.

20 Random Facts about me

I read this tag on Vera's blog and it was a pretty fun read so i decide to do the tag. This is the 1st tag i'm ever trying out so i hope u guys enjoy it. Here goes :D

1. Long pending blogpost on this but give or take i've been married for about 5months now 
2. I love the color green, anyone that knows me knows this, i've even had green contactsfor a while and they looked fab although maybe scary to some people
3. I'm super animated and love to use exclamations, lols and emoticons 
4. I've been natural (hair-relaxer free) for about 5years now and i'm a lazy natural (meaning my fave hairstyle with my hair is a ponytail or bun *covers face)
5. I love to travel and hopefully will touch all the continents in my lifetime, so far i've been to Singapore, Dubai, Ghana and the UK.
6. I have a bit of OCD when it comes to keeping things orderly and clean
7. I have had a diary since my secondary school days, i love to write about each day of my life and i think this has helped my memory. You'd be surprised by the no. of things i can vividly recall from my past
8. I love reading! (Novels, Magazines, Blogs, etc)lool.i read the most random things just for the sake of it
9. My fave food is Pounded yam (not the Poundo Powder o! i'm a mix of Ondo and Ekiti state and thats pounded yam is like our taditional meal so trust me when i say i can taste the differece) and Edikaikong soup and i can make it. Check out Dooney's blog for the recipe
10. I love being around water bodies *lakes, beaches, pools, etc. at some point i thot i was a mamiwater sef.lool. i just like the peace and calm that they usually have around them when its not crowded with people
11. I love Korean series!!! Huge addict thanks to Lee Min Ho (google him if u don't know the hotness that is he), my fave till date is still 'Boys before flowers'
12. I'm a Youtube addict. I follow soo many channels and can spend the whole day on there
13. I have big feet, i'm a size 40/41
14. My fave games are sudoku and scrabble. i'm not a big fan of playing outdoor sports 'cos i'm too scared of embarrassing myself but i'd gladly cheer my friends on though
15. I'm a Capricorn and ESFJ personality type
16. I love nail varnish and admire all the colors and design but rarely have them on because it really irks me when they get chipped
17. I have a massive sweet tooth!and i don't even try to curb it although i successfully cut out soft drinks totally when i was in Uni
18. My weight has always been between 54 and 58kg since i reached adulthood no matter how much or little i eat *shrug
19. I love to dance!OMG actually this should be my fave sport, lol.i randomly do moves at home or work just for the fun of it. *i'm weird like that
20. I have the most random taste in music and movies from genre to language. I have my Chinese, Korean, Indian, South African, Ghanian, etc. You catch my drift, language is no barrier for my love.
21. I love writing to-do lists and linking it to my calendar and reminders. Ticking them off gives me some kind of inner joy i can't explain and also keeps me on track of things i need to get done and the timelines
22. I'm not the most patient person, i have a short fuse but i get over things just as quickly
23. I love to do things in my own unique way which is why i did 23 facts instead of 20 for this post. #sueme :P :D

Here I am...

Here I am...I stared on as my friends played their fifa 13 and made comments 2d players in the TV,as though they were not d ones controlln them...oh well...my mind was elsewhere,I had had one heck of a day and jst wanted to chill and dance the stress away. Contrary 2norm,my home wasn't feeln as cozy as usual...I did not wanna be there.Thank God its d wknd,else I'd have had a shitty week...I should mention that I had a good week though.Just yst I was d perfect gf,went 2d market durn my office break and later that night,a pot of stew,two soups and 3plates of amala away.I took a long shower at around midnight and decided that would be my shower for the day.I laid down on the Orthopaedic bed,all my joints screaming their pain. Here I am,yells in the air from those who have scored goals in this video game, thinking about my close friend who can't get over her ex and he dsnt gv a fuck about her,I v advised her 2cut off all connectn from him and jst occupy her mind with other things so her thoughts don't drift 2wrds him,but v been in her sort of situation and I know its easier said than done,the task is ultimately up 2her 2will herself from vn feelns for him....I drifted off again 2 the fight that ensued midday btw my friend and is mum,it was intense,unsightly and downright sad as they yelled at one another @d top of their voices,his other friend and I had stayed in d room initially with the TV on high volume trying to ignore their yells,like children with drunk parents hide during a fight,we had to intervene eventually and it was disheartening. They finally cooled off and went to their seperate rooms,we left the house.I needed to have a talk with him,but how best 2do it?He has a quick temper and is touchy about such issues.On the other hand,my Carpenter and plumber had jst finished their work demarcating my kitchen from that of my filthy neigbours!...story 4anoda day...I paid them their balance and called the cleaner to come clean the place 2mw.I did not v d energy and besides,spiders and cobwebs give me d creeps and dt was d major filth. We went in2 my house(more of a room tho-Self contained things).I told him in my most calm and soft voice that I wanted to talk to him,and I did not want him to get upset.I eventually made him see reason,after also bribing him with a stick of  cigarette(which v been tryn 2mk him quit) and escorting him to play dis Fifa 13 game..Here I am...

Smile...

Some joys are better expressed in silence as a smile sometimes holds more meaning than words. I was asked if i enjoyed having you in my life and i just smile. I have learnt that people may likely orget what you said, what you did but rarely forget how you made them feel.

AUGUST

Soooooooooooooooooooo, its a new month and all...i like new months,cant really say why i just do.

went home on saturday evening after chilln with my best friend for a bit, always love the feeling when i get home,'cos of the distance and all i actually do miss my family peeps and feel good when i see them esp my vewi nutty brother. Anyway got updates on what had happened while i was away and what will be happening while i'm in town..got to jist with my mama as usual.... Went to church and it was fun which is more than i can say for other times, gave my testimony 'bout my job, etc and we all went home staight to bed i guess we were exhausted. My cuz and i came bk to town and continued our brothers and sisters series, i saw my best friend and before i knew it i was off to snoozeland.....

plus i saw the cutest baby in church(i love babies esp cute ones!),its hard to believe we were all once innocent looking, even terrorists,robbers and what have you.

MY BLOG

Read my whole blog some weeks back and it made me smile,couldn't believe i posted some of the stuffs on it,some seemed immature,others (comme ci comme ca), thought about deleting some but changed my mind,i view it as a way i can assess my growth and i have to say i like how far i have come...hmmm..yes i do..

New Week

Wish i could stay in bed, but obviously i can't so i'm at work and will be for th next 4days between 8am and latest 8pm, might as well make the most of it.

So..so..so..its a beautiful day, its still raining here,wish i were in bed under a duvet but then i'm in the real world on my chair in front of my system at work. Been assigned some more responsibilities on my job, i don't mind.

nothing much has been happening with me,i've had more time to chill with my bestfriend and that's good.that remind's me i read 'bout this facebook data torrent debacle about facebook users' dat being collected,though some may not see a big deal in it since most of the stuff on fb is not considered private anyway, i worry for new or trusting users who fill in every blank on fb including their residential address,phone number or any other details that may be considered private,a lot of harm can come to such if the wrong pple get a hold of this information or even pictures considered funny or harmless at the time of uploading.i also recently watched a video bout a girl who had all this info on fb and some pictures guys would find arousing or provocative,next thing she had a guy stalking her and calling her incessantly,even though she stopped picking his calls her address had been on her page,he located her and the end of the story was very sad.l try to get d pic and post it on my fb and here..better safe than sorry or dead http://news.yahoo.com/s/pcworld/20100729/tc_pcworld/thefacebookdatatorrentdebacleqa

Went to maitama park with ma best friend, buger lounge to be precise and it was yum yum..lol..had burger and dis(spring rolls,samosa,beef/chicken balls and shrimp(vewi vewi tasty) washed it down wit chapman...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
